Wholesome Family Movies Needed

Wholesome, faith based movies. Not porno like Jerry McGuire, or extreme profanity movies, or movies that talk non-stop about sex (Liar, Liar or Click).

I joined Feeln in hopes of finding mostly family friendly, clean content (in contrast to most streaming providers). I am seeing more and more movies with inappropriate content that neither I nor my teenagers desire to see.

I agree a "family" movie site should not offer "R" s and some PG-13 are not appropriate either

This is the very reason I have not yet signed up. There is always PureFlix.com. Totally family friendly. Dovechannel.com is somewhat family friendly and they do have a rating system that tells you what is in the movie before you watch it. Both have a free trial too.

I have found some of the same things as well. If it states nudity or adult language then I don't watch but some don't state that. I prefer movies w/o such content because it does seep into the mind and eventually comes out when you least expect it. I'm hoping they come up with a way to not only let viewers know content but also to somehow mark movies not wanted and it go into a list or something and out of the list of movies so one doesn't have to keep weeding through them. This would be especially helpful for anyone who is like me that isn't good at remembering the names of movies. There are so many out there that I can't keep track of them to know what they are.

The darkest movie on here was Wuthering Heights and it isn't on any more...all the rest I've seen have been squeaky clean. No sexual content? No kissing or expressions of love? How do you think you get a family in the first place? I have no idea what you guys have been watching but there has been nothing but wholesome, uplifting, feel-good stories on this channel and I've watched almost all of them.

If what you really mean is that you want a channel that reflects only the values of your particular brand of religion -- there are many, many religious channels that will fit the bill.

I do love some of the ideas here. I've been a bit shocked at some of the content I've seen here, but overall I'm loving it. I am pacing myself on the hallmark movies so I don't watch them all too quickly.

I I have started the subscription to this channel but at the end of this month I will be canceling it for the very same reasons others have mentioned before me. Both movies I started to watch were not family friendly. I could find no rating system so I would've been advised to that before I started the movies

I agree! The reason I haven't yet signed up for Feeln is because of this. Where oh where is there a truly safe, wholesome place a family can go for quality entertainment? What I'd love to see on this site are classic family series like "Little House on the Prairie" and "The Waltons" - stuff like that!

VERY disappointed that no one from your company bothers to respond to ANY of the comments in any manner Whatsoever. Communications With your customers = good customer service. 0 communications = VERY poor to 0 and rude customer service. Why even have a forum and place for ?'s and ideas if there is NO feedback from the company?

Agree completely!!!! Well put and states the thoughts of MANY Whom I have introduced to Feeln. I'm embarrassed that I recommended Feeln' to them, once I saW hoW many non family friendly movies are included. Definitely NOT as advertised!!!!!!

Hear, hear, and I meant Hear! Get rid of the offensive movies and programs. Not acceptable for a family channel!!!!!!

      • JaimeJaime commented  ·   ·  Flag as inappropriate

Some of the movies you have added are offensive. A specific example is "With This Ring" I did not get past the first few minutes. In those few moments it included foul language and a reference to masturbation as a means of gratification. I thought Feeln was focused on family films. What happened?

I agree with and support both comments! CLEAN UP the profanity and adult content. I'm paying for clean content. That's what I'm in the market for.

      • TracieTracie commented  ·   ·  Flag as inappropriate

I completely agree with both comments! This is a channel that is supposed to stand out as different from the rest! That's what we're paying for!

      • TracieTracie commented  ·   ·  Flag as inappropriate

I completely agree! I'm so furious right now for being lied to by Feeln. Their own statement about themselves says they show "family-friendly Hollywood movies". That is a flat-out lie! SOME are, but others are NOT. They say the R-rated ones are edited for TV and rated TV-14. What about Mystic Pizza??? That's horrible and far from family-friendly! I'm sure they don't care anyway, though, and probably aren't even reading these comments.

We tried a couple of movies tonight (not Hallmark). One was full of "G*d D*mn!" "Son of a B**ch!" and "S*it!". Turned it off when those were repeated several times. Another had a sex scene between unmarried characters that was quite explicit and not something I would want a child to watch. Off with that one too. Family friendly? No parental controls? Really? I would honestly like for someone at Feeln to explain how they can say that about some of their movies. To be fair, we have also watched some good faith-based movies and others, including a lot of the Hallmark, that are not objectionable. There ARE some good family-friendly movies, but it is tainted by the profanity and sex in many of the others.

Yes! I agree! Cut OUT the GARBAGE! Cold Mountain? Click?!!! I'm an adult and I can't even appreciate nor enjoy those. I'd like to see more movie like Anne of Green Gables (and sequels), Sarah Plain and Tall (and sequels), Charms for the Easy Life, Caddie Woodlawn (the COMPLETE version) the Road to Avonlea series - things you can't get anywhere else (or are hard to find). This is why I sign up for Feeln (on occasion) - I couldn't find "The Maid" anywhere and I was ecstatic to find it here (it's not perfect but basically family friendly). I could care less about the "Hollywood" movies that are readily available on Amazon Netflix and etc. - I only sign up when there is something unique here. And I really appreciate the Hallmarks. Thanks.
